Mr. Mirzoyan, you do remember that we also elected you as the NA speaker. Ani Samsonyan, an MP of the opposition Bright Armenia faction, stated this in the National Assembly (NA) Tuesday, addressing NA speaker Ararat Mirzoyan.

"In that case, I want to understand why you are behaving so contemptuously towards the factions that also elected you NA speaker. Moreover, your responsibility toward the opposition in this matter is greater than toward the government," Samsonyan said.

In response, Mirzoyan said: "Dear Mrs. Samsonyan, I believe it is not appropriate to accuse me—of all the people—of contemptuous attitude toward not only the parliamentarians, but also the parliamentary opposition. In general, I try not to manifest such behavior; this is not particular to me. But if in any way you have felt such signs in my behavior, I apologize."
