YEREVAN. – Kirill, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, has sent a congratulatory message to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on his birthday. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the press office of the President.
"You conscientiously fulfill the duties entrusted to you and make a significant contribution to the consolidation of [Armenia’s] society—for the dignified future of the country.
It is commendable that you are making considerable efforts so that your compatriots do not forget their spiritual roots, respect national history and culture, and preserve the heritage of the ancestors with care," the message reads, in particular.
