A masked and armed robbery took place Monday in Yerevan, shamshyan.com reported.

At around 11:30 am, the police received a call informing that an armed robbery had taken place at a loan office in the Armenian capital city.

The police found out that a person wearing a surgical mask—and with a hat and a weapon-like object—had entered the aforesaid loan office, pointed the weapon at an employee, stolen money, and then fled the scene.

According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

It is being determined how much money the criminal stole.
