At the eternal flame of this monument, he observed a minute of silence in honor of the sanctified martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

Also, Chi-Foon Chan toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, made a note in its Book of Honored Guests, and then planted a silver fir—in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide—at the Memory Alley.
