Georgia participates in all kinds of international financial sanctions and resolutions that have been used to support Ukraine amid the Russian invasion, President Salome Zourabichvili told CNN on Thursday, Agenda.ge reported.

Zourabichvili told the channel her country was “in solidarity” with Ukraine in the wake of the Russian attack that started on February 24.

“We are participating in all kinds of international financial sanctions and that's quite something for the Georgian financial sector. At the same time, we are participating in all the international resolutions that have been taken to support Ukraine. We share [with Ukraine] a common two-century history of Russian aggression and we know what that means,” the Georgian President said.
