Azerbaijan denies involvement in the murder of Armenian soldier David Vardanyan.

On May 28, 2022, the Armenian media reported that allegedly one serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces was seriously injured as a result of the violation by the Azerbaijani side of the ceasefire regime on the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

In this regard, we officially declare that this information does not correspond to reality and does not reflect reality,” the State Border Service of Azerbaijan said in a statement distributed by Azerbaijani media.

As reported earlier, serviceman David Vardanyan was wounded by an Azerbaijani sniper. David died in the hospital.
