YEREVAN. - Vaghinak Gasparyan, one of the Armenian passengers injured in a tourist bus crash in Georgia is still in hospital, an officer of the Armenian Embassy in Tbilisi Levon Torgomyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Armenian Embassy intends to transfer Gasparyan to Armenia today or tomorrow.

According to him, there are still one Russian and two Georgian women in hospital, whose health state had been esteemed as grave.

However, Torgomyan did not specify the causes of the accident. The Georgian authorities are making everything possible to clarify the details. No official information is available at the moment,” he noted.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, a bus carrying Armenian tourists fell into a 15-meter gorge on Georgia’s Kazbegi-Tbilisi highway on Thursday evening. Nineteen passengers were hospitalized with injuries.
