First Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army Kerim Veliyev met with Major General Yuri Dashkin, Secretary of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS countries, who was on a visit to Baku.

The Defense Ministry told APA that the sides discussed issues related to the next meeting of the CIS Committee of the Chiefs of Staff, which will be held in October this year in Baku. The sides decided to familiarize themselves with the venue of the meeting and exchanged views on a number of other issues.
