Russia and Armenia have accumulated a considerable track-record of constructive cooperation. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted this in a message he issued to the participants of the Ninth Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum, the Kremlin press service reports.

Putin noted that this year the two countries mark the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.

"It is important that during that time, Russia and Armenia have accumulated a considerable track-record of constructive cooperation in various directions," added the Russian leader.

According to Putin, interregional cooperation is an important component of Armenian-Russian relations.

As the Russian president noted, Armenia and Russia cooperate in economic, social, scientific, humanitarian and some other domains, and successfully implement major projects and initiatives.

"I am sure that your ideas and proposals will be used in practice for the promotion of mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian area and the further strengthening of the Armenian-Russian partnership," Putin added in his message to the participants of the aforementioned forum.
