Volkswagen has developed a chair with an electric motor that allows you to move around the office space without getting up, New Atlas reported.

The office chair has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a range of 12 km. It is controlled by pressing special pedals.

Not to run over any of the colleagues when moving backward, you can use the screen built into the armrest, which displays the image from the camera located at the rear of the vehicle. Besides, the seat is equipped with a klaxon, entertainment music system, headlights and seat heating.

The cost of the novelty is not disclosed. According to the information on the official website of Volkswagen, it is already possible to have a test drive of the seat in some car dealerships.
