International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi will travel to Tehran in the coming days, Iran Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi said Monday.
"In recent days we have had constructive and promising discussions with representatives of the IAEA..... On this basis, Mohammad Eslami, head of the AEOI, invited Grossi to pay an official visit to Iran," IRNA news agency quoted Kamalvandi as saying.
He added that the visit of the IAEA director general will take place in the coming days. Kamalvandi also pointed out that more information about the program of the visit would soon be made public in the media.
