US comprehends Azerbaijan’s security interests on Lachin road, said US Department of State Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Louis Bono, who is on a visit to Azerbaijani capital Baku today, APA reports.
“Certainly, we understand security interests of Azerbaijan. In fact, we understand the security interests of all parties," the American diplomat stressed.
He pointed out that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced his position in Munich regarding the situation around the Lachin road.
To remind, despite the "comprehending", the US, among other countries, calls on Azerbaijan to immediately stop its blockade of the Lachin corridor, the only road that connects Nagorno-Karabakh with the outside world.
