A meeting between Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia, Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Garibashvili, took place in the Georgian city of Batumi. The press service of the Prime Minister reports. 

The leaders of the two states first had a tête-à-tête conversation, and then the talks continued in an expanded format.

The prime ministers stressed the strong cultural and historical ties that unite the two nations.

It was noted that as part of a shared commitment to promote regional stability and prosperity, Armenia and Georgia are aimed at a high-level dialogue on strategic issues, which will give an additional boost to effective cooperation, contributing at the same time to regional peace and stability.

The importance of intensive contact was emphasized, which attests to the dynamic development of bilateral relations and the high level of political dialogue.

The interlocutors discussed the agenda and prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Georgia and touched upon further steps to consistently develop and expand cooperation in various fields.
