Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, commented on the absence of Armenian representatives at the CSTO summit in Belarusian capital Minsk, and expressed hope that Armenia will not change the vectors of its foreign policy and will remain an ally and strategic partner of the other CSTO countries, reports RIA Novosti.

"We hope that Armenia will not change the vectors of its foreign policy, Armenia remains our ally, our strategic partner, both in terms of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. We will continue to talk with them," Peskov said in an interview with Russian TV journalist Pavel Zarubin.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced earlier that he will not be able to attend the CSTO summit in Minsk, Thursday.
