An agreement has been reached on the establishment of the consulate general of Armenia in Tabriz, Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced this during Wednesday’s joint news conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in Yerevan.
"We hope that during the first weeks of the New Year, my colleague and I will soon witness the official opening ceremony of the consulate general. We positively evaluate the development of bilateral relations, we underscore the development of cooperation between the public and private sectors of the two countries," emphasized the Iranian FM.
