YEREVAN. - Past daily of Armenia writes: According to Past newspaper’s information, the authorities are currently carrying out serious monitoring in public schools for the purpose of a unique "political cleaning."

According to our information, the upper echelons of the halls of power have instructed the provincial governors to conduct a thorough and detailed study and to have at hand the lists of teachers who were linked to the "former ones" to some extent; moreover, who still have "counter-revolutionary" views.

It has been specially instructed to clearly follow even the Facebook activity of the given teachers (…), and, accordingly, to create a comprehensive, complete image and database.

In the near future, these "undesirable" teachers will either gradually get fewer classes for various reasons or will simply be left out of school due to "small amount of time."
