There was a large fire Saturday at the landfill of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

At 12:58pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that firefighters’ help was needed to extinguish the fire that had broken out at the Nubarashen landfill.

Four fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was put out at 4:07am.

About 100 square meters of trash, however, was burned.

One tractor and one water truck from Yerevan Municipality also participated in this firefighting.
