BAKU. – “Be the case,” the Azerbaijani political authorities speak about returning Karabakh, but, in reality, the armed forces lack strength and power. There are weapons, but it is meaningless to speak about strength and stamina, the correspondent of Azadliq newspaper of Azerbaijan concludes, after a one-week research in Azerbaijani military units. 

The correspondent also notes that the soldiers in all the units are guided by their own laws. And as per the article’s writer, Azerbaijani defense minister Safar Abiyev’s policy is at the root of the problem. “He has neglected the army,” Azadliq’s correspondent writes.
