YEREVAN. - The Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received the Chairman of the Central Board of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party Sedrak Achemyan, member of Board Vazgen Kaltakchyan and the chairman of Armenian Board Gevorg Perkuperkyan. The parties talked about the presidential elections held in Armenia (February 18 –ed.).

“During our last meeting you voiced your assurance that free and transparent presidential elections are going to be held in Armenia. Today we can note that the authorities of Armenia had political will to hold such elections. These elections were several steps forward, which is proved by the response of international organizations,” Sedrak Achemyan said.

Sedrak Achemyan also voiced his wish to deepen relations with Armenian authorities, to which the Prime Minister said: “Traditional political parties must be powerful for the sake of Armenian people.”

Referring to the elections, the Prime Minister said that it is the responsibility of the authorities to organize the democratic processes in the country.
