YEREVAN.- Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Tuesday newly appointed Indian Ambassador to Armenia Suresh Babu Thadipaneni.

Premier Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador, in connection with commencing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, and expressed a hope that Armenia-India relations will continue to strengthen during his term in office.

Ambassador Babu expressed his readiness to do everything to give a new impetus to bilateral ties and implementation of business programs.

The sides discussed cooperation in the fields of economy, information technologies, agriculture and other areas.

Ambassador is confident that Armenian government will continue economic development which will contribute to attracting Indian investments to the country.
