YEREVAN. – The Armenian capital city Yerevan Municipality continues to monitor the service quality of the public transport system in the city.
Municipality Transport Department Chief Henrik Navasardyan stated the aforesaid during the working consultation meeting that was held at the city hall.
It was noted a total of 38 service quality violations were recorded, informs the Municipality Information and Public Relations Department.
In this context, Mayor Taron Margaryan commissioned to conduct a stringent oversight on whether or not the respective businesses are providing a good quality public transport service.
“We need to be more demanding and persistent in ensuring a high quality of service. We will also discuss the organization of the pilot program of a single [transport] fare in community transport,” Taron Margaryan added.
