YEREVAN. – From January to June 2013, a total of 363,000 people departed from Armenia, against the 384,000 in the same time period last year, from Zvartnots International Airport of capital city Yerevan.

The Armenian General Department of Civil Aviation informed the aforesaid.  

Accordingly, the number of those that left Armenia has dropped by 21,000 people, or by 5.8 percent.

In addition, 330,500 people have arrived in Armenia so far this year, as compared to the 334,000 people in the same time period last year.

But the difference between the airline passengers that arrived in and those that departed from Armenia still remains in negative territory, as 32,500 more people have left between January and June 2013. To note, however, the negative balance was 50,000 in the year past.   

Also, 12,339 people have arrived in and 19,693 people have left Armenia from Shirak International Airport of Gyumri city.
