The records of the Lithuanian diplomats’ alleged phone conversations, leaked online, are information provocation, stated Lithuania’s FM Linas Linkevičius.

He added that the Lithuanian MFA is carrying out an investigation into the incident, Delfi.lt reports.

The records are said to have been uploaded to YouTube.com on July 8, in one of which two Lithuanian diplomats are said to be involved in a conversation.

It is said that the diplomats’ conversation took place at 12:50pm on April 4.

The men in the recording are having an informal conversation about Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, personal opinions on the conflict between the two countries, Azerbaijanis’ and Armenians’ active participation in the resolution of issues related to them at the MFA, as well as the establishment of a group of friendship with Nagorno-Karabakh in the Lithuanian Seimas (Parliament).
