The driver of a GAZ 33104-31-model vehicle hit Ruben Asatryan (born in 1928) on Armenia’s Artashat-Yerevan Highway, at the Ayntap village section, on Tuesday at around 12:15pm.
As a result, Asatryan sustained injuries and was transferred to hospital.
But he died at hospital, on the same day at 3:50pm.
An investigation is launched into the incident.
