YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan Police have kidnapped Vahe Gevorgyan, Vahagn Minasyan, Gor Arakelyan and Sevak Mamyan, and without providing any legal justification.    

Environmental civic activist Tehmine Yenokyan informed the aforesaid. 

“The [protest] action against paid parking spots [in Yerevan] was to get underway at 1pm., but the police reacted to the participants of the action solely fifteen minutes after the painting of the parking spots. At present, the four guys are at the central police station,” Yenokyan noted.

The Police press service, on the other hand, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that four people were “administratively brought” to the police station and an administrative offense report is being prepared on them.
