YEREVAN. – The Finance Ministry of Armenia plans to issue the first Eurobonds of the country.
Thursday’s Cabinet session approved the draft decision—introduced by Finance Minister Davit Sargsyan—to sign a contract with the chief underwriters to issue Eurobonds, informs the Finance Ministry press service.
Deutsche Bank AG London Branch, HSBC Bank plc, and J.P. Morgan Securities plc are selected as the chief underwriters.
In May, the Government of Armenia approved the concept for issuing foreign currency denominated bonds in the international capital market.
