YEREVAN. – Armenia’s political fall is going to be very interesting, especially ahead of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, U.S. Ambassador said.
“Armenia has been successfully negotiating with the European Union on the Association Agreement and on DCFTA. We are not a part of this process, but we commend the both sides. We think it is good for Armenia. We think that EU process that Armenia is on is very important and I hope it is successful. Armenia is a sovereign country and will associate itself with whichever organization it chooses. Armenia will make its own decisions,” John Heffern told reporters on Monday.
Joghn Heffern said some important decisions on civil aviation will be made this fall, as the Armenian government is considering a number of reports.
Armenia is expected to initial Association Agreement, a core element of which is the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA), during the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.
