YEREVAN. – Armenian parliament’s committee on European Integration headed by Naira Zohrabyan discussed recent developments concerning decision to join the Customs Union.

The Committee discussed the issue on inviting the responsible officials of Foreign Ministry to provide information on the processes going on over Armenia-EU Association Agreement, as well as Customs Union.  

As a result of discussions, the Committee made a decision to invite to the parliament officials of the Foreign Committee to provide information on those two processes.

The statement issued by presidents of Armenia and Russia on Tuesday said Armenia has an intention to join the Customs Union and participate in formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
