STEPANAKERT. – Foreign Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Karen Mirzoyan on Monday received members of a Danish delegation of MPs and journalists who are on a visit to Stepanakert.

Minister Mirzoyan welcomed members of the delegation and stressed the importance of such visits for establishing and strengthening of ties between the two states, Karabakh MFA’s press service reported.

Karen Mirzoyan noted that direct contacts with political figures and media representatives create conditions for forming in the Danish society a truthful and unbiased picture of the NKR and political and economical processes taking place here.  

During the meeting Karen Mirzoyan briefed the guests on the current stage of peace talks on conflict between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh and answered the questions concerning prospects of the conflict resolution, regional developments and international recognition of the NKR.
