YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Thursday received Wolfgang Börnsen, the head of “Germany-Southern Caucasus” parliamentary friendship group of Bundestag.

Minister Nalbandian underscored importance of the development of cooperation with Germany in different areas and expressed confidence about the established high-level political dialogue between Armenia and Germany emphasizing particularly the current collaboration between the parliaments of the two countries. He noted that cooperation is being realized through reciprocal visits of the heads of parliaments and contacts between inter-parliamentary friendship groups, Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

 The Minister commended the work of Wolfgang Börnsen as the head of “Germany-Southern Caucasus” parliamentary friendship group of Bundestag underlining his visit to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The sides had an exchange of ideas concerning the further development of Armenian-German relations, Armenia-EU partnership and other issues of bilateral interest.
