YEREVAN. – An Armenian delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan, headed to France.
In Valence, the delegation will participate in the second conference of the Armenian-French Decentralized Cooperation, informs the Armenian Territorial Administration Ministry press service.
Prior to arriving in Valence, however, Armenia’s deputy PM on Monday will meet with his French colleagues in Paris.
On Tuesday, Gevorgyan is scheduled to hold talks with the municipal and provincial authorities of Lyon.
On Wednesday, the Armenian deputy PM will address at the official opening of the second Armenian-French Decentralized Cooperation conference.
In the sidelines of the event, the Union of Communities of Armenia and the Rhône-Alpes region of France will sign an agreement on the renewal of cooperation.
After the summarizing of the discussions, the conference declaration is expected to be adopted.
Following the conference, the regional governors and community leaders—that are included in the Armenian delegation—will travel to their partner regions and communities in France.
