YEREVAN. – Ukraine’s choice is a sovereign right and improvement of relations with EU is not considered as a threat to the CSTO, organization’s chief Nikolay Bordyuzha said.

During the Monday space bridge, CSTO Secretary General touched upon possibility of potential geopolitical risks to CSTO in case of signing of association agreement between Ukraine and EU.

“We are not considering Ukraine’s improvement of relations or association with EU as a threat for CSTO,” he emphasized.

Nikolay Bordyuzha said it is regretful that CSTO work is not covered in Ukraine.

“We are not trying to draw Ukraine into talks with CSTO. We just say it would be better to work together on some directions,” he noted.
