YEREVAN. – Situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating and there are many prerequisites for further deterioration after NATO withdraws the troops, CSTO chief said.
According to expert assessments of all CSTO member states, instability in Afghanistan will increase, Nikolay Bordyuzha said.
“The instability will definitely affect all the CSTO member states. We are very much concerned over training of terrorist in the territory of Afghanistan. We see what is happening in Syria. I am not excluding the possibility that militants, among them citizens of our states, that were trained in terrorist camps may attempt to destabilize situation in the motherland,” he said.
CSTO Secretary General called for preventive measures not to allow such developments.
