YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.62/$1 in Armenia on Monday. 

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.08 rise from the previous day. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 554.77 (up by AMD 1.45), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.35 (up by AMD 0.07), and the rate of one British pound was 663.07 (up by AMD 0.38), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 15,587.24, AMD 252.08, and AMD 17,318.43, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled $900,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 406.01/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 406/$1.
