YEREVAN. – Head of the standing committee on state and legal affairs who considered himself a principled politician and argued that 20 percent of ArmRusgazprom shares may be sold, for example, to Azerbaijani company, voted for this agreement humbly.

In an interview with Armenian News NEWS.am, secretary of the parliamentary Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan commented on the statement by Harutyunyan. Earlier the politician said the parliamentary opposition had no reason for petitioning to the Constitutional Court.

“Today, David Harutyunyan and members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia voted in favor of the fact that one day Gazprom may sell part of the shares of ArmRusgazprom or will transfer the management to an Azerbaijani or Turkish company. They are bearing historical responsibility for the decision,” Zohrabyan said.

The MP also stressed that the four parliamentary forces during the week will petition to the Constitutional Court, as they believe that it has all the legal reasons: “We will appeal the outcome of the vote, and the voting process.”
