YEREVAN. – The situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border is relatively calm on Saturday, spokesperson for defense ministry Arttsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Of course, we cannot call it calm, it can be considered calm as compared with the previous several days. Azerbaijani armed forces continue violating ceasefire regime, but there is less shooting today,” he said.

As reported earlier, following the failure of two acts of sabotage against Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijani side intensified shelling on Armenian positions and civilian objects. As a result, a 16-year-old girl from Aygepar village was wounded.
