Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s visit to U.S. proved that all that political forces in U.S. support Georgia, President’s Spokesperson Manana Manjgaladze stated at an April 15 briefing.

“The meetings were unprecedented within the latest period. Georgia enjoys both U.S. and public support. The position was confirmed at the meetings with U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden,” Georgia Online quotes Manjgaladze.

She also said it is unclear how long Saakashvili’s visit will last to U.S. According to the Presidential Press Service, Saakshvili will leave for Poland to attend Polish President Lech Kaczynski’s funeral service, thereafter will return to U.S to continue the visit.
