The head of Istanbul security service Huseyin Capkin stated that Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a five years’ permission to stay for Arthur Manukyan suffering from severe cerebrum disease and his mother.
Boy’s mother – Hasmik Manukyan was called to police station to give relevant references. Arthur and his mother were met by police Chief Ali Celen who told journalists that the boy should undergo treatment in Turkey.
