Almaty will host an informal OSCE ministerial meeting held on July 16-17, said the Spokesman for Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Nesterenko, RIA Novosti reports.

He also noted that OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut arrived on a working visit to Moscow on Thursday. OSCE Sec. Gen was received by Russian FM Sergey Lavrov and held talks with his deputies Alexander Grushko and Alexei Borodavkin.  

Nesterenko stated that the officials discussed topical issues of OSCE agenda, including preparation to the informal meeting in Almaty, as well as plans on holding OSCE summit in 2010.
