Israeli and Lebanese media reported that Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan planned to visit Gaza.

After an Israeli military attack on the ships carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the Turkish Premier stated that he intends to unblock Gaza by himself, Turkish Haberturk reports, referring to the Lebanese Al-Mustakabel newspaper.

Erdogan informed the U.S. administration that he wishes to accompany a ship with humanitarian aid sailing to the Gaza Strip. However, the U.S. advised him to postpone his trip until the situation is resolved, the Lebanese newspaper says.
