The commander of the special forces of the Turkish army, General  Zekai Aksakalli, and the Turkish military servicemen accompanying him, paid a visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

Specifically, the Turkish military members visited the line of contact between the Armenia-Azerbaijan armed forces.

The Turkish general got familiarized with the combat-readiness, logistics, moral and psychological condition, and social and living conditions of the Azerbaijani military units, Contact.az reported citing the press service of the Azerbaijan MOD.

General Aksakalli also toured the educational rifle ranges of the Azerbaijani army.

Despite being a member in the OSCE Minsk Group, which is engaged in finding a settlement to the Karabakh conflict, Turkey actively assists and supplies weapons to the Azerbaijani military.
