YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 475.94/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.99 from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 523.82 (up by AMD 5.60), that of one British pound was AMD 731.28 (up by AMD 6.79), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.23 (up by AMD 0.08), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 241.88, AMD 18,323.99 and AMD 17,178.74, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 477/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 477/$1.
