YEREVAN. – The president of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Galust Sahakyan, on Saturday received the participants in a seminar entitled “Future of the Bologna system,” and 68th conference of the governing board of the European Students’ Union (ESU).

The NA speaker underscored the role and participation of youth in the processes taking place in the world. Sahakyan also expressed contentment that the youth from abroad, and who are being hosted in Armenia, are participating in the celebratory events being held in the country these days.

Reflecting on the recent Armenian Genocide Centennial commemorations, Galust Sahakyan informed these youth that a respective global forum was convened recently in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan. He added that, in this context, the NA will call upon all parliaments to set up committees to fight against genocides.

As per the chairman of the Armenian parliament, the youth must coordinate their efforts to contribute to peace and the prosperity and development of the countries in the 21st century.

During the meeting, Galust Sahakyan responded to the questions posed by the youth in attendance.
