President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attended, on Saturday in Moscow, the festivities devoted to the 70th anniversary of the then-Soviet peoples’ victory achieved in the Great Patriotic War during World War II.
The Armenian President, together with the heads of high-ranking delegations from numerous other countries, watched—at the Red Square—the military parade dedicated to this triumph, put flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and participated—at the Grand Kremlin Palace—in the Russian President’s festive reception on this anniversary (PHOTOS).
President Sargsyan, together with the other guests attending these events, also will watch—at the Red Square—the final event of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
On Sunday, the President of Armenia will pay a visit to Marshall Ivan (Hovhannes) Bagramyan’s tomb at the Red Square, where he will lay a wreath and pay tribute to this great Armenian military commander.
