YEREVAN. – The Investigative Committee of Armenia has provided new details regarding the case involving Margarita Karapetyan, 38, who was found dead Friday nearby the David Bek fortress in close proximity to Kapan town in the Syunik Province.

Accordingly, the woman was registered at the Syunik Marz [i.e. province] Psychoneurologic Dispensary, informed the press service of the Investigative Committee.

Karapetyan’s body was found on a hillside 61 meters from the aforesaid fortress, and with burns and a head injury. The grass of this hillside was also completely burned.

A forensic examination of the corpse was commissioned.
