YEREVAN. – Another heated battle among the Republic of Armenia (RA) authorities is over, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.
“NA [i.e. National] MP Khosrov Harutyunyan’s son, Robert Harutyunyan, as well as [Armenian Revolutionary Federation] ARF [Dashnaktsutyun Party] ex-MP Ara Nranyan have said goodbye to the job of EEU [i.e. Eurasian Economic Union] Board member-minister.
“A 10-member EEU Economic Commission, where each EEU member country shall have two members, shall be formed before the end of the year. But the RA had 3 ministers in the EEU: Khosrov Harutyunyan’s son, Ara Nranyan, and former Deputy Minister of Economy Karine Minasyan, who enjoys the patronage of [Armenia’s serving Ambassador to US and ex-PM] Tigran Sargsyan.
“We learned that on [Monday,] December 21, it was decided at the EEU that Karine Minasyan will assume the newly created position of Member-Minister of Domestic Markets, Localization, Information and Communication Technologies of the EEU Board,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
