YEREVAN. – Agriculture in Armenia grew by 11.6 percent from January to November.
The Minister of Agriculture, Sergo Karapetyan, stated the above-said at Monday’s year-end press conference.
The minister added that during this time the total volume of agricultural products in the country amounted to 931.4 billion Armenian drams (approx. US$1.946 billion).
Karapetyan noted the priorities of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia include the increasing of the targeted use of the country’s agricultural lands, the development of agricultural cooperatives, and the implementation of pilot projects for the intensive methods of economic management of fisheries and agricultural gardens.
