An unusual incident had occurred in Vayk, Armenia, on October 7.

An assault had taken place in an apartment in this town, and the assailant was a young woman.

Armenian News-NEWS.am had learned that the 31-year-old woman, who was armed with a knife and wearing a mask, had broken into the apartment, used violence against its female resident, demanded money and gold jewelry, and she threatened to kill her, otherwise.

The investigation into this assault is completed, and the case is sent to court.

Criminal charges have been brought against the assailant, Liana Manukyan, 31.

Release on bail has been enforced as her restraining order.
