In El Alto Rosatom signed three agreements with the Bolivian government on building a nuclear center, reported the RNS. The first agreement relates to the development of the center, the second to the qualification of specialists in the field of nuclear technology, and the last one to the dissemination of information about the use nuclear technologies. The Bolivian minister of Fuel and Energy said that the project is only for peaceful purposes . "It is a research center , which will be used for peaceful purposes for the development of the medical sector , agro-industrial complex , scientific research, and technology ," he said.
