The European Parliament will probably vote in favor of removing EU visa requirements for short-term visits of Georgian citizens, reports RIA Novosti, citing the Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok. According to him, the vote will probably take place in September. "I hope that this will happen in September," said Brok.
As reported earlier, the EU Council has not been able to make a decision on visa liberalization for Ukraine, Turkey, Georgia, and Kosovo.
